Shanghai International Port (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as SIPG) is the largest joint-venture port enterprise in China. It is a comprehensive port with the second-largest cargo throughput and the largest container throughput in the world.

CUSTOMER REQUIREMENT
As a self-use integrated data center, SIPG places great importance on intelligence, high efficiency, high stability, and low-carbon sustainable development. For the power distribution units right next to the servers, SIPG raised three major questions:

 

◾ How to achieve efficient utilization of space and resources?
◾ How to ensure the highly stable operation of the servers?
◾ What should be the layout of intelligent terminal power distribution?

After an in-depth understanding of the customer needs, ApisLogik decided to adopt the intelligent PDU that offers metering at the outlet level as the terminal power distribution solution.

 



INTELLIGENT EMPOWERMENT, FINE MANAGEMENT, EVERYTHING IS UNDER CONTROL
Every device is a "computer". The outlet-metered intelligent PDU provides an intelligent solution of full power monitoring and outlet monitoring in cooperation with the large-scale power and environment DCIM system to realize the digital function of real-time transmission of energy consumption status at the outlet level. Equipped with temperature and humidity controllers, and smoke and water leakage monitoring interfaces, the state monitoring of the rack micro-environment can be connected in series through PDU cascading, and data can be uploaded to the dynamic environment system or intelligent management platform through various channels. The system can also be conveniently connected with the intelligent busbar, the micro-module micro-environment intelligent monitoring system, and the data center dynamic environment system, effectively achieving the intelligent monitoring function of the data center power distribution environment.

SAFE AND RELIABLE SECURITY
Equipped with IEC-C13+IEC-C19 self-locking and anti-off outlets to prevent the plug from accidentally falling off due to external force to ensure the safety of the server power supply. In addition, the high-power-intensive arrangement is suitable for high-density and high-power servers in the SIPG data center to meet the requirements of high utilization.

At the same time, the product is made of high-strength aviation aluminum, which is safe and reliable while ensuring a lightweight design. The panel adopts integrated stamping or laser automatic cutting technology to ensure its excellent mechanical strength and internal electrical safety, and improve overall stability, safety and reliability.
